Presence
Colibria's Presence Platform is a powerful, fully standard OMA compliant SIP-based server that controls and manages every aspect of presence within solutions. It can be used to presence enable any number of applications from Instant Messaging through VoIP, gaming and IPTV. Presence provides users with new ways of personalizing and presenting their profiles to communities, while offering a wealth of appealing reasons to communicate with others.
The platform can accept and store presence statuses and notify users and communities of presence changes. Furthermore, the platform allows users to publish their presence status and control who receives notifications and personal information.
The Colibria Presence Platform is fully carrier grade and is deployed in networks today allowing the operator to provide both presence profiling as described above, and presence routing allowing networks to optimize session routing based on presence information increasing the likely hood of successful communication.
