Colibria Brings its Presence Message to 3GSM Asia

Colibria AS, the leading international developer of mobile Instant Messaging and Presence Service (IMPS) technology platforms, will be demonstrating the breadth of its multiple-client interoperability at 3GSM World Congress Asia (26 - 30 September 2005, Suntec International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore). Exhibiting on stand C12, the company will be underlining the universal flexibility of the Colibria Companion Instant Messaging and Presence Server, by showing the platform in operation with a variety of IMPS and SIP clients. Making its Asia Pacific debut is the Colibria Cast media suite, a powerful set of tools that enable mobile campaigns, polls and competitions to be set up easily and quickly.

Colibria's demonstrations at the congress will emphasise how the Colibria Companion's seamless client access and comprehensive IMPS service integration tools can be deployed to deliver a rich variety of styles and functionalities to the end user, across the widest range of handset clients and devices. All communication between the devices will be handled via the Colibria Companion server, with the demonstrations encompassing: · embedded IMPS and SIP clients from various mobile phone vendors; · downloadable smartphone clients; · Colibria's own PC, WAP and SMS clients.

The interoperability theme of Colibria's demonstrations is being emphasised in the Content Seminar Theatre, where Keith Gibson - Colibria's CEO - is presenting a paper on Messaging Interoperability (15:30, Tuesday, 27th September).

Colibria's demonstrations at the event will also include Colibria Communities, a multimedia content sharing and communications product for friends and peer groups, conceived as a multi-channel IMPS solution. It enables the creation of mobile communities that can share common group and one-to-one communication spaces, with individual user-diaries, blogs and other content being shared via a message-board UI.

The Dynamics of Presence
The carrier-grade Colibria Companion Instant Messaging (IM) and Presence Server is a scalable, flexible and future-proof solution that supports advanced presence, messaging and multimedia services.
