Colibria Powers IM and Presence at 3GSM World Congress 2006

Colibria demonstrates the latest innovations in its Companion IM and Presence Technology Platform on Stand No: E84-86 in Hall 2.

Colibria AS, the leading international developer of mobile Instant Messaging and Presence Service technology platforms, is demonstrating the latest advances in its Colibria Companion IM and Presence Server, establishing a new benchmark for certified OMA IMPS and SIP/IMS support, as well as unmatched embedded client interoperability and legacy client support. Colibria has also focused on extending its IMPS Client support, with the growing list of downloadable terminal clients including Symbian, J2ME, iMode, Microsoft Mobile Clients and BREW. In addition, Colibria is showing examples of its own Client and unique user interface, highlighting the degree of customisation that can be applied in support of a service provider’s market strategy and branding. This is illustrated by the recent market launch of the dixiTel service in Belgium, powered by Colibria’s Companion IM and Presence Server.

At 3GSM World Congress, Colibria is majoring on illustrating how operators and service providers can harness the latest IM and Presence developments within the context of IMPS and SIP/IMS evolution to unlock new ARPU-increasing market opportunities. In its latest evolution, the Colibria Companion IM and Presence Server offers unmatched embedded client interoperability, with legacy client support now encompassing SMS, MMS, HTML, XHTML, and WAP.
