Colibria Signs Agreement With Thumbspeed for Mobile IM Client
Strategic Distribution Agreement Enables Colibria to Offer Thumbspeed’s Industry-Leading Mobile Instant Messaging Client.
Colibria AS, the leading international developer of mobile Instant Messaging and Presence Service (IMPS) technology platforms, has today announced a strategic reseller agreement with Thumbspeed Inc., a leading developer and publisher of mobile applications. This agreement enables Colibria to offer Thumbspeed’s Instant Messaging (IM) client to its international mobile network operator customer base, as part of Colibria’s range of end-to-end, carrier-grade mobile IM and Presence solutions.
The agreement allows Colibria’s operator customers to provide a best-in-class mobile IM end-user experience, which increases messaging usage and revenues, while reducing support costs. The Thumbspeed IM client is available for J2ME, Symbian®, Windows Mobile®, BlackBerry® Java, BREW®, and Palm environments, on devices from all major manufacturers. The IM client is certified by AIM, MSN, Yahoo and ICQ, and also supports new custom communities, giving operators the widest possible choice in adding mobile instant messaging to their available services.
