Colibria Champions IM Interconnectivity and SMS Continuity – at GSM>3G Central & Eastern Europe

Colibria is demonstrating cross-network interconnectivity and the evolution of SMS to an advanced Instant Messaging (IM) service, on Stand: 22 at GSM>3G Central & Eastern Europe in Romania (JW Marriott Grand Hotel, Bucharest, 24 – 25 October 2006).

Colibria AS, the leading international developer of Mobile Instant Messaging (MIM) and Presence solutions, is focusing on the growing capabilities of its Colibria Companion Instant Messaging (IM) and Presence Server, at GSM>3G Central & Eastern Europe, in Bucharest. The most recent addition to Colibria’s range of IM solutions is its Personal IM (PIM) Interconnect Manager, which supports cross-network interconnectivity to deliver the essential infrastructure for advanced messaging, presence and multimedia services.

Colibria is also emphasising the business case for IM at the conference, and the importance of providing SMS Continuity to operators – to build on the success of SMS, reduce churn and generate valuable revenue from existing subscribers.
