Colibria Focuses on Interoperability for Cross-Network IM – at Mobile Instant Messaging, London

Colibria debuts its Personal IM Interconnect Manager and puts the spotlight on cross-network Instant Messaging (IM), at the IIR’s Mobile Instant Messaging conference in London (Hilton London Olympia, Kensington, 30th October – 2nd November 2006).

The conference marks the UK debut of Colibria’s Personal IM (PIM) Interconnect Manager, a strategic addition to the expanding capability of the Colibria Companion Instant Messaging (IM) and Presence Server. Supporting cross-network interconnectivity, Colibria’s PIM Interconnect Manager delivers the essential infrastructure for advanced messaging, presence and multimedia services.

With the introduction of the PIM Interconnect Manager, Colibria is contributing to the industry’s goal of ensuring that personal instant messaging can be made available on a global scale. Reflecting Colibria’s strength in cross-network interoperability, Lars Kristian Roland, Colibria’s Chief Technology Officer, is presenting a paper at 10:20am on Day Two of the MIM conference. Forming part of the conference’s "Interoperability and Technology" strand, the presentation is entitled:

"Overcoming IM Interoperability to Achieve a Seamless Service across Multiple Networks and Technologies."

Lars Kristian Roland’s presentation will encompass:
