Colibria, a leading developer of new generation Mobile Instant Messaging (MIM) solutions, has today announced its partnership with the newly launched Acision, formerly the telecoms products division of LogicaCMG. The partnership will see Colibria’s industry-leading MIM services become a key component in Acision’s new intuitive messaging technology system, ‘Intuitive Texting’.

The partnership will support Acision in its provision of best-of-breed messaging services to help operators grow and evolve messaging revenues. The combined solution will provide interoperability with existing messaging services such as SMS or PC-IM, creating the most comprehensive platform available for converged messaging services. Colibria’s Elevate solution is the only MIM platform being used by Acision.

The intuitive messaging solution is already live with TMN in Portugal, supporting the operator’s cutting-edge ‘Super SMS’ service.

Chris Lennartz, Marketing Director at Acision commented, "We are committed to providing our customers with industry-leading expertise for their messaging services. Incorporating Colibria’s Elevate platform into our intuitive messaging technology suite will ensure that operators have the most advanced MIM system available. Our customers’ subscribers will be able enjoy a superior messaging experience, enhanced with the interactivity and additional community-centric features."

Matt Hooper, EVP Marketing, Colibria said, "Our position as the provider of Acision’s MIM solution components is testament to the strength of Colibria’s market leading Elevate platform and technology. We have already had success with the TMN launch of Super SMS in Portugal and are working closely with Acision to help other operators advance and develop their messaging services."
